The 9th Annual “Around the World in 180 Minutes” Wine
Tasting event was held at MainStreet America on Saturday, April 8 with over 250 people in attendance to make a difference to an organization that has served the community of Special Needs Adults for 50 years.
Each participant received a wine glass with a handmade ceramic wine charm (made by the clients) with a passport that guided the attendee through the 14 wine regions represented at the event. Volunteer servers were familiar with their specific regional wines and offered information to assist participants. Why Not Envy Me, a local retail distributor in Spring took orders for many of the wines with a give back incentive of 25% to Bridgewood Farms for wines ordered during the event.
