Around the World in 180 Minutes, 9th Annual Wine Tasting Benefiting Bridgewood

The 9th Annual “Around the World in 180 Minutes” Wine
Tasting event was held at MainStreet America on Saturday, April 8 with over 250 people in attendance to make a difference to an organization that has served the community of Special Needs Adults for 50 years.

Each participant received a wine glass with a handmade ceramic wine charm (made by the clients) with a passport that guided the attendee through the 14 wine regions represented at the event. Volunteer servers were familiar with their specific regional wines and offered information to assist participants. Why Not Envy Me, a local retail distributor in Spring took orders for many of the wines with a give back incentive of 25% to Bridgewood Farms for wines ordered during the event.

carries through into the evening as if you were welcoming people into your home”, said Flo Nelson, Executive Director. “The clients that participated loved to see all the community support”
The event would not be possible without the support of our

auction items included a 2 hour cocktail party for 25 at the Ballroom at Bayou Place, roundtrip airfare for 2 to New York with a Two-Night stay at the New York Sheraton, a semi-precious ring donated by Camillo’s Jewelry, and an Astro’s private suite for 12 guests donated by CB&I.
