For nearly 60 years, Bridgewood Farms has served adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through continuing education, life skills training, and community-building activities, both for residential and day-program clients.
We are a caring community for teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities located in Montgomery County, Texas. Since 1967, Bridgewood Farms has served as a premier provider of day programs, after-school programs and residential care for individuals with special needs and their families.
We provide training, education, and skills development that build self-esteem, promote personal independence, and allows our clients to reach their highest potential. Our work helps ensure that everyone, regardless of their intellectual abilities, has an opportunity of a happy, healthy, and productive life.
Adult Day Program
Our weekday program is the perfect environment for clients to enjoy friendships, continue education, learn life skills, and grow in their creativity and passions.
We understand the importance and benefit of a safe and supportive environment for adults with special needs. We offer community living with around-the-clock dedicated support at each of our homes.
Life at The Farm
We grow in our creativity.
In addition to creating lasting friendships and developing in their abilities, our clients enjoy activities like horticulture, pottery/ceramics, and crafting.
We contribute in our community.
We place a high value on inclusion and socialization so we frequently enjoy trips to the bowling alley, grocery store, local restaurants, and more! We have opportunities for clients to serve and be active.
We celebrate what we can do.
Each client has unique giftings and needs so we create individual learning plans that focus on areas of ability, set goals for growth, and ensure that we help them reach their full potential.
“Bridgewood Farms has walked with our son for over twenty years; providing support, encouragement, and joy along the way!”
